What is Project 2020?
Topps Project 2020 cards feature 20 artists and 20 players. This allows for some amazing possibilities of artwork replicating some iconic rookie cards. 400 if you like math. Scroll down for the Topps Project 2020 Checklist & Print Runs
Two Topps Project cards are released daily, Monday- Friday. The times for release have been varied, and the hiccups have been plenty, but the print number has created post-release frenzy as collectors have to decide to buy at release, or wait and see if the print number creates higher value after the 48-hour purchase window.

Within 48 hours you can purchase either one card or the 2-pack combo. Once the window closes you can see the print run the next day. Some cards have seen high print runs, thus lowering the value, but some have had short-prints and have sent prices skyrocketing. It’s a balance, and why you’re seeing such volatility in this market.

The checklist isn’t limited to the cards themselves though. With each 2-card offering there is an additional artist proof card as well. These have typically been numbered to only 20 copies and have seemed to be selling to Topps’ top buyers, or maybe my internet connection just isn’t quick enough.

Topps Project 2020 Print Runs Report
This project should last throughout the year, so it’s going to have plenty of opportunities for collectors to pick up their favorite artists. The buzz has been growing, but there’s not telling how much excitement will continue as the Topps Project 2020 checklist and print runs continue to expand.
As of this posting there’s no rhyme or reason as to whether card prices will go up, or fall, There totally is now that we’re seeing the print runs creeping up. Because they’re one and done in terms of printing the first 50-ish cards are going to start getting really rare.
