Topps Project 2020: 5/28

Gregory Siff//EfDot

Here is the Topps Project 2020 release for 5/28. Very excited about these personally as these two artists are some of my favorite. I became a fan of Siff when he released Don Mattingly, so not too long ago, but his cards have really just caught my attention.

EfDot coming with the straight fire with Tony Gwynn running through palm trees. Love it.

Update: The print runs have been announced for Topps Project 2020 5/28 , and so far that’s two days in a row that are fairly close in number.

Gregory Siff’s Jeter almost hit 50K and Mr. Padre did a lot lower than I anticipated coming in at 31030 copies.

:Check out Gregory Siff and EfDot Artist Gallery:

Gregory Siff has released four other cards before this one and they’re all relatively low prints. With two cards from this week already breaking print run records I don’t think the low PRs are going to continue. Especially with Jeter being the subject. Previous players include: Ripken, Mattingly, Brett, and Nolan Ryan. Make sure you click the link for artist galleries.

EfDot has four previously released cards as well; McGwire, Nolan Ryan, Ted Williams, and Willy Mays. His Ted Williams card got a lot of praise for the Citgo sign detail in the artwork. Because of that attention to detail, that was his highest print run so far at 8897. It’s funny to think that anything below 10K is going to be considered a short print moving forward.
