2014 Topps Fire football Checklist

If the world was coming to an end and the only thing that could save the world was to play a game of football, then 2014 Fire Football is exactly what the memories of that day would look like. Set to release January 2015, Fire Football will set collectors ablaze with the 150-card-checklist that features 100 stars and 50 rookies. Rookies that will be in full swing by January, so players that are hot to start the season may have cooled off by the beginning of the year.

The insert cards play along with the ‘Fire’ theme with names like, “Forged by Fire” and “Competitive Fire”, but my special Johnny Cash insert: Ring of Fire. Now weather or not that was the inspiration, those last inserts are the toughest to pull. Ten active and legendary players who have won one or more Super Bowls. They’re one per hobby box and only found in hobby packs. Because of that, it seems this will be available at retail as well.
