In The Game wants hockey fans to remember the rivalry between the Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs in its upcoming release. It looks like the upcoming 100-card premium set is going to spark up the debate in the next edition of Forever Rivals.
Set to release on October 13, 2012, Forever Rivals will, “provide a cardboard examination of the intensity between these two teams.” Hockey fans appreciate the raw energy that comes with any battle on the ice, but this deeply-rooted battle between the two teams will be given tribute in this release.
Each box is said to feature hard-signed auto’s ranging from players debuting as early as the 1930s to several first-time signers. ITG says, ‘over 120 different autograph cards to collect” in this set also featuring numerous Hall of Famers and stars.
There will be a traditional Game-Used Jersey collection that will also have a Patch edition that will to provide even more great value. Some of these cards will be extremely limited as well for certain vintage players. For goalie enthusiasts, be sure to check out the Between The Pipes cards which will have memorabilia pieces from many of the best netminders to protect the crease for either team. – ITG Website
