2023 Baseball Cards: What’s In Store<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The only licensed Major League Baseball cards are from Topps, who was purchased by Fanatics in 2022<\/a>. This means that they’re the only company who can use MLB logos and uniforms. Throughout the year, the will offer a variety of products for both retail and hobby. Collectors can also find several sets and limited edition releases on the Topps website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other companies, such as Leaf and Onyx, will bring more baseball cards to market. These are often centered around draft picks and prospects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fanatics has changed how they announce products. For years, Topps would announced their hobby products about six months in advance. Whether temporary or permanent, they’re now holding virtually all details until just a few weeks before release. This means a lot more unknowns far out, such as which products are coming out and when, but it should also mean fewer changes once info is out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
