If you were collecting in the 1990’s through the 2000’s you may need to help explain to collectors that are just making their way back into the hobby how intricate the original Topps Tek series was. I know of some player collectors that are STILL trying to put together complete sets from the original Tek sets.
I have two Craig Biggio cards from Tek. That’s where I stopped, mostly because once you start down the path of parallels it is hard to come back from the vicious cycle. From the looks of things 2014 Topps High Tek doesn’t seem to fall too far from the tree.
