The hobby-exclusive Bowman Sterling makes its valiant return in 2014 with some updated styling but the same beefed out hit inclusions. Set to arrive in October, Sterling will contain five cards per pack: Three base cards, one autographed rookie or veteran card and one jumbo rookie or veteran relic card.
Each six-pack box will have four rookie autographs, one rookie auto/relic, one rookie auto/patch, six dual relics or dual patches, one jumbo rookie patch box topper, or one autographed purple wave refractor box topper. The duals and box toppers are new for 2014 and even more incentive for collector to just buy a box if they can afford it.
Even with baseball, the odds are a lot better if you can swing and entire box rather than just taking your chances one pack at a time.
