The U.S. Mint has released its first curved coin to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the MLB Hall of Fame, and it’s getting huge fanfare so far. As of 11:24 a.m. CST, the U.S. Mint website was down because of high traffic. Each curved side of the coin will represent the roundness of the baseball and the depth of a baseball glove, so these are pretty fantastic in itself, and for the fact that these aren’t your normal flat coins.
They do come in a variety of metals and I’m not sure how long they will be available. If you happen to order one, let me know what you think in the comment section below!
