Upcoming Panini Releases look fantastic

One of the things that Panini America does really well is giving the fans plenty of product information to drool over. Tracy Hackler is responsible for the goodness and if you check out the Panini Blog  there are plenty of reason to hit that FOLLOW button.

Here are some of the most recent posts to admire:

Teaser Gallery: Panini America Breaks One Early Box of 2013-14 Elite Basketball

With Elite Basketball you get the same ‘feel’ as the baseball release, but since they have an NBA license things tend to be more visually appealing.  You always get the sense they are held back with the non-logo baseball, but these early images look pretty sweet.  One of my complaints with typical Panini products is the use, or non-use,  of empty space and always with the chrome!, but the early images here look great.

Teaser Gallery: Panini America Rips Three Early Boxes of 2013 Black Football

As I write this piece the Super Bowl is a mere six days away, but the football faithful will be more than eager to rip into some 2013 Black Football. Don’t let the black and white pack fool you; these cards will pack some decent color. This product is definitely a niche product though- you’re either going to love its simplicity or hate it.  Personally, I’m not a huge fan, but the new inserts should continue to draw collectors in.

Simply Spectra-cular: Panini America Offers Sweet First Look at 2013 Spectra Football

In the photographs these look fantastic.  I’m definitely not afraid of a little prism coloring on cards, but these opened may start to burn the eyeballs a little bit. They gotta use that patented Optichrome printing somehwere, right?  From the early cards these autographs look like a lot have managed to be made on-card, but the product information does say there will be a mix.  Either way, the amount of autos per box (either 12 autos or mem cards) should make collectors happy.
