2013 Topps Chrome redemption announcement

Topps cards announced Monday that 2013 Topps Chrome would be including more than half of its initial autograph lineup in the form of redemptions.  To save some face, they made sure to let collectors know that most of the redemptions were in-house and ready to be sent out.  A list of subjects as redemptions is as follows:

Topps also made a point to announce that they will be doing a weekly redemption recap to let collectors know when they had certain cards in stock ready to be sent out.  I applaud them on at least trying to make redemptions a better situation, and I commented on Panini America’s ability to do this well in a previous post. 

It’s a long tedious process that collectors don’t want to hear about.  The business side of things, but in a conference call held by Chris Olds of Beckett Magazine, Topps tried to shed some light on the topic:
