Love him or hate him- true fans of mixed martial arts need to respect Jon Jones. After being arrested for DUI and being responsible for the cancellation of UFC 151, Jones defeated Vitor Belfort by submission in the 4th round during UFC 152. This marks Bones” eighth win in a row and his fourth title defense.
With all of the negativity that surrounded UFC 151″s cancellation, Jones seemed eager to get back to fighting and giving the fans a show. This didn”t come easily. If the first round, Vitor attempted to submit Jones by armbar attack, but failed to complete the submission. Jones” arm hyper-extended enough to cause some nerve damage in his arm. After the fight Jones said, “I”ve never had my arm pop like that before, and I don”t know, I felt it, but I worked too hard to give up.”

Vitor showed he was a warrior, but Jones was just too big and too skilled!
Maybe the change in weight class hurt Vitor? What has it been , five year since he fought there? Haha. It was definitely close in the beginning, but endurance is key.
